The Two of Cups is the card of the pair: two people look at each other and want the same thing. In plain terms it is "we're together", a meeting, mutual attraction, a partnership of equals. With the Hierophant and the Ten of Pentacles it points at marriage. It is not a money card.

A man and a woman hold out their cups to each other. Above them float a winged lion's head and the caduceus, the staff with two snakes. Everything on the card is even: neither figure stands higher, neither gives more, the cups are the same size.
Two of Cups upright
Upright, the Two of Cups means mutual feeling and union: meeting someone, the start of a relationship, a partnership, making up after a quarrel. Picture two people who met at a friend's birthday and both text first the next morning.
One nuance: the card sometimes shows a person leaving one relationship for another; the feeling is sincere, but the old story is not closed. In business it is a handshake deal between equals.
