From your date of birth an octagram is built — an eight-pointed star of two overlapping squares — where every position describes a sphere of life: character, talents, relationships, finances, ancestral programs and karmic lessons.
The straight (personal) square tells your own story: the day arcana is your calling card, the month arcana holds your talents and emotions, the year arcana carries the tasks of the material world, and the bottom point is the karmic task of this incarnation.
